Meet Erika

After graduating high school, Erika went on to attend Albany State University (ASU) in Albany, GA. At ASU she developed her passion for and commitment to servant leadership, as well as civic and community engagement. Upon graduating from ASU with a degree in Accounting, she began her professional career in Atlanta. She has worked for notable globally-based and Atlanta-based companies in Accounting, Finance and Management Consulting leadership. She also achieved the designation of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and started her own Accounting services business. She is also a proud MBA graduate of Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

Erika is a community involvement enthusiast, coalition builder, small business owner, and servant leader who has taken hands-on roles to continue making her community and the City of Atlanta a great place to live, work and play for all. Having grown up in a hard-working family that experienced and overcame economic and social challenges currently faced by many Atlantans now, Erika has deep sensitivity to the needs of the hard-working Atlantans and youth depending on strong leadership and vision from our civic leaders. On a more personal note, Erika loves all things Atlanta and lives in the historic Castleberry Hill neighborhood with her growing family.
